A POEM ABOUT PARENTS

Parents! Parents! Parents!

You are unique gifts from God
How intelligent you are!
By starving any consequence to bear us
You are very helpful people
For you teach us morals and ethics
In order for us to become successful.

You are loving

That even if we do wrong
You are still love us and care for us in any situation.
Because of being caring and kind.

There is no sorrow when we are with you.
You are really unique people for what you do for us
We children,

Shall also be respectful before you.
For you train us to an extent of fitting in the world,
When we go astray, you make us strait.

We shall always love you
More and more.

GOOD HEARTED WOMAN

Once upon a time,
There lived a queen, with love, care and
a forgiving heart, struggling, day and night,
Wearing dirty clothes, waking up night,
Looking for money to earn a leaving.

Do you remember her?

Washing clothes for people,
Selling fruits in a market,
Children are sick, she need help,
Crying day and night asking for help,

The almighty answers.

Suffers from heart attack,
No medical care, sad news are heard,
Crying every where, Satan is really bad,
How can a person survive, without her?
Suffering and crying, may her soul rest in peace,

She will always be remembered.

A SECRET TO AN AFRICAN MOTHER

I wanted to tell you a secret,
A secret that would tell of this desire,
To see you, of this fear of losing you,
Of this indefinable ill that pursues me,
Of this more than benevolence that I feel,
Of this more yearning to which I live in total surrender,

I wanted to tell a secret,
A secret that would hear without sighing,
A secret of memories of you,
A secret that you would hear without the coldness of forgetting,
A secret that would make you recall the madness of our passion,
And the bitterness of our separation.

I would like to tell you a secret,
I feel secure and safe in your presence,
Your words urge me on to bravely endure,
Your happiness keeps me sweet,
Your love keeps me peaceful,
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun for bare to shine,
But mother who bared me hear below,
Will be forever mine.

ABSTINENCE

Abstinence!       Abstinence!

How good you are to us!
The only hope of protecting our lives is you
You are the right unwanted by anyone to loose.
The only to guarantee protection against STDS
You are 100% effective in preventing early pregnancy.

Abstinence!                 Abstinence!

New to the adolescents

“Be just before you are generous”

Your future is in your hands

“Think before you act”

Learn to restrain and abstain
Be strong and say a big no to sex
In order to achieve your goals and become
Successful people
Value your life.

PEACE AND FREEDOM IN LINE WITH NATIONAL DAYS CELEBRATION

Peace and Freedom! Peace and Freedom!

How good you are to us!
You help people live calm
Without war and violence
You are the right wanted by every personality

Peace and Freedom! Peace and Freedom!

Now to the leaders
“Be just before generous”
Treat everyone fairly
Be always at their side and service
Teach and tell them more about national days,
And their importance
Be frank and inform them
Because they entrusted you with their votes.

Peace and Freedom! Peace and Freedom!

“Better late than never”
At least leaders try your best to teach people,
The goodness and greatness of national days.
“If a cap fits you wear it”
And act accordingly
You have to be faithful in service
When you help the people,
Truth will come out”

COVID 19!

COVID 19! COVID 19!

What a pandemic disease you were
Killing millions of people
The poor and the rich
The adults, youths and the young
All in the same boot.

COVID 19! COVID 19!

What a pandemic disease you were
Destroying peoples’ lives
All businesses and schools were closed
People earned no income
Just because of your existence

COVID 19! COVID 19!

What a pandemic disease you were
Indeed you were dangerous
But we had ways how to escape you
For example, washing hands, wearing face masks
Sanitizing hands, keeping social distance
And many others

COVID 19! COVID 19!

What a pandemic disease you were
But many people survived because they were watchful
They followed the ways how to escape you
And even they were careful
That’s how they managed to save their lives

 “STAY SAFE.”

THE PLANNER

A year ago, it was a windy weather,
On my bed, I sat and thought,
Birds are flying, Workers are working,
Students are studying, God is planning.

Today, the worshippers are worshipping,
Birds are praising, Grasses are blowing,
Sick people are healed, Riches are forgiven,
A thousands are forgiven, Requests are granted.

A good hearted person, with power,
Mercy and love, He guides every one,
Forgives and grants every wish.
Heavy rain falls, Floods occur but
He always on your side.

Pandemic diseases attack his people,
Medicine is discovered, people are cured.
Students are studying, waking up at 4:00am,
Making revision every time, praying endlessly,
Walking with aims, moving with focus,
He is planning for you.

People are celebrating, music is played,
Certificates are given out, every one is praising Him,
He is on your side, planning for you.

SIMPLY YOU

Stop worrying about what other people think of you and focus on yourself instead.

Focus on what makes you happy

Focus on what makes your soul feel at peace

You are you biggest commitment, so start loving your flaws, your awkwardness, your weirdness, your intensity and your vulnerability

Life becomes so much more fulfilling when you are simply yourself.

The world keeps spinning whether people understand you or not, so why not make this text trip around the sun about you.

INFORMATION MINISTER

THE POLLUTION OF OUR ENVIRONMENT

The pollution of our environment
People think that they protect their lives
Oh! People of Africa
Learn how to protect the environment.

The pollution of our environment
Plastic bottles, plastic plates and polythene bags
You are so bad to us
Even you don’t decay
Oh! Plastics you should be put in use
We should make dustbins from you.

The pollution of our environment
In Governments, Parliaments and Districts
People cry for tropical diseases
The government does not respond to them
People ask for the government’s help
So that Uganda can be a clean country.

The pollution of our environment
Water being polluted
Soil being polluted
Air being polluted
So, we should work with effort to stop this
Ugandans! Ugandans! Ugandans!
Please wake up
So that we clean our environment.
